Women Lead Arkansas is non-partisan, and we do not endorse candidates. We DO, however, support women’s right to run for office at every level. We will do our best to help candidates find the resources they need, including women who want to volunteer on or work on campaigns. Upcoming trainings are on the calendar.

Women don’t have to run for office to get involved politically. Women were 56 percent of the voters in the 2012 election. Votes are power, and women’s votes make a difference. In addition to voting, you can talk to your friends and neighbors about your preferred candidates and issues; volunteer for campaigns; learn how to work on campaigns; host fundraising events for your candidates. There are many ways to get involved.

Women Lead Arkansas partners with the Center for American Women in Politics at Rutgers’ Eagleton Institute of Politics. We are part of a nationwide network of organizations with a similar mission. CAWP is a great resource for information, research, and publications about women in politics. They are an invaluable support system for our efforts in Arkansas.
